2018 flew by! The next big event on the calendar is New Years Eve, which usually consists of fun parties, plenty of photo-ops, and an excuse to get dressed up! We've gathered a few of our favorite pieces to bring you a NYE lookbook and give you some outfit inspiration if you're still struggling with what you are going to wear.
Sweater Weather
This is the perfect look for you if you need to stay warm but still look cute! Pair a sweater with a leather skirt or some skinny jeans and booties for a look you can rock all night comfortably. When wearing sweaters, especially turtlenecks, you are able to get creative with fun earring options to accessorize because necklaces and bracelets tend to get hidden under all the material. With a neutral sweater like the one above you could add a pop of color or a fun bag to help spice up your look. It is New Years Eve so you have to have a little fun with your outfit!
Faux Fun
We've talked about these faux coats in previous blog posts as well - how can you not when they are this cute?! Add an instant piece of glam to your look by wearing this over your favorite party dress and pair the whole outfit together with a pair of strappy heels. Adorable! To keep up the glam vibe you could add some gold jewelry to finish it off. Since it's already so fancy, we recommend keeping the accessories simple such as this Christine Leather Envelope bag. Little Black Dress Tops
Change it up and ditch your typical Little Black Dress this year for a little black top instead! You can completely dress this up or down to suit your taste. You could pair each with a skirt and boots, or even throw on some black leather leggings if you're going for an edgier vibe. The options are endless when working with such a versatile piece! A pair of silver statement earrings will break up the look and add an extra element to your outfit. My top pick for bags would be the Oakley Embossed Messenger or the Bafelli Classic Leather Clutch. The messenger adds more personality with it's pretty embroidered detail, while the leather clutch is more timeless and keeps the look more plain and consistent. Both would go perfectly!
